Britta Ambauen strives to use jewelry as a means to inspire. She uses sterling silver, 14k gold fill, and gemstones. Her delicate and detailed designs have stories behind them with messages of strength and confidence. Britta supports taking risks in pursuit of one’s dreams!
Originally trained as a print maker, specializing in copper etching, Britta fell in love with jewelry making when she did an apprenticeship ship at Angie Star Jewelry in Boulder, Colorado. Currently, she is discovering ways to combine etching techniques with jewelry making. The two art forms are proving very compatible.
Born is Poulsbo, Washington, Britta moved to Boulder in 2003 to attend the University of Colorado, Boulder, and pursue rock climbing and outdoor adventures. She spent the summer of 2010 living and working in New York City. Now, Britta lives in Denver, Colorado.
